Sample TAT story:

Aman is social worker, working for NGO prayass india,which helps children to have free education, house and food, he came to his friends uncles house for some donation to his NGO,they all were having fun by playing cards when aman saw a child age between 10-12 years serving tea and snacks to them and rude behaviors of uncle towards child, aman clarified with his friend about the child and got to know that child is working in uncle house from past 1 month, he explained the uncle about the crime he is doing, and made him satisfied he shouldn’t be doing again and he rescued the child got him admitted to his NGO.

Sample TAT story:

Sonu is a chief engineer and is working in R&D department for maruti in gurgaon,he had prepared a design of fuel efficient car and all of them have gathered in the conference room for the presentation to be given by sonu,after sonu finished his presentation questions arised from his members about the design and to execute it, will it be working practically, would it feasible to common man, sonu answered them all and convinced most members of the board some of them were not convinced had put their head down, sonu convinced them about his plans and executing them and finally his plan was approved by the company chairman.

Ram is a medical student studying in Gandhi medical college,it was raining heavily in the month of july ,he was at home when he heard someone knocking his door hard,it was his neighbor children asking for help for their mother who is suffering from heart attack,he immediately gave some relief injection and went out in heavy rain fall and winds to call for ambulance,after 45 minutes of harsh travel he reached the hospital and came back with ambulance admitted the mother into the hospital and saved her life,and said to have regular checkup to avoid such circumstances.

Sample TAT story Sports Activities SSB Interview:

Saleem was keen for sports right from childhood. He participated in many sports activities from his early age in the school. He developed his talent in maximum sports activities. Saleem also regularly watched the sports and the matches on the television. During the commonwealth games, the actions of participants in pole-vault event inspired him. He made his mind to do practice in pole-vault and do well. His regular practice and determination made him capable to show good performance in the event. He came in the limelight. He was selected for participation in international championship. Saleem scored good position initially in the Asiad and did extremely well in the commonwealth games 2004. His performance in the pole-vault brightened the name of India and also brought glory for the country. Saleem set up a remarkable example by making place, for India in the above said event out side the country, which also inspired the children and the youth to follow. Saleem kept practicing hard and also represented India in Beijing Olympics 2008.

Sample TAT story for SSB Interview:

Joy was posted at a forward post at Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir as Company Commander. The area was known for the infiltration and enemy attacks. He was given this responsibility to bring down the infiltration attempts and also carry out strict actions for those caught in this activities. Joy knew from intelligence sources that the enemy had advanced towards his area, made tactical defense, stored huge arms, ammunition and explosive in our territory near the border. He also knew about the plan of the enemy to attack our posts. Joy alerted his troops. He briefed about the situation and his plan. He motivated his men to teach the lesson to the enemy.

Joy moved towards enemy along with his men, materials, equipment, arms, ammunition and also the explosives. His plan was to attack heavily during midnight by giving surprise. He accordingly attacked the enemy with planned strategy and destroyed enemy’s posts. Joy and his troop made enemy to run away from his area. He  informed his commanding officer about his victory, who also expressed his pleasure. Joy returned to his camp joyfully.

As a part of Maharashtra state tourism department annual function there was a boat rowing expedition in Mumbai. The unit of Rohit was given responsibility to organize on the fixed date. A number of VIPs were invited from all over the country. Rohit was looking after the administration including transport of the unit. He had the responsibility to organize the reception, accommodation, transport, general administration and departure in respect of all the VIPs. Rohit made out a chart incorporating all the details, held a conference, and also briefed all about the actions by giving specific responsibility to his men. He also motivated his staff for doing needful by making all the arrangements to make the stay of VIPs comfortable. Rohit monitored over all activities to ensure smooth functioning. The chief guest and also the invitees expressed the happiness for good arrangements. Rohit played an important role on administrative aspects to make the show decent. Sample TAT Story for SSB Interview:

It was the ambition of Shyam to fly an aeroplane and the glider , from his childhood . He knew that the said opportunity was available in NCC during training and thereby joining the air force . Shyam was impressed when he witnessed adventurous events demonstrated by the senior NCC cadets to qualify their part ‘C’ certificate and on NCC day as well. Shyam , therefore, decided to join NCC and do well to achieve the goal. He did the training on all the aspects including para jumping, glider flying and other adventurous activities, and did well. Shyam got opportunity to demonstrate all those activities on NCC annual day during 2006 over field craft training ground. He set up an example on the glider flying from one peak to another of the mountains which were horizontally situated adjacent to the ground . All the activities were quite perceptible by the eyes of the spectators, who enjoyed it a lot. After passing out the training and air force as a pilot and got through. he could prove himself a good pilot officer and fulfil his ambition, which he was carrying from his childhood .We see in the picture that Shyam is conveying the message about his success to his father and also his friends by telephone.

Sample TAT Story for SSB Interview:

Seema was a good singer  and dancer right from her college days. She was also the lady officer posted in an infantry Division. Her unit was given responsibility to organize variety show programmes on the eve of new year’s day in Surya Officers institute on 01 June , 2006 to all the officers and their families stationed in Lucknow. Seema wanted to present a stage play “A global status of Indian women” through acting, conversation, song and dance. She listed out the volunteer lady  officers, also the lady wives of the officers and the men. She formed a team of required ladies through a selection according to their talent. Seema also briefed about the program and nominated them for different actions, song and dance. She organised a rehearsal every day in the  evening in  the station auditorium. She found that all the actors were trained to present the show in a perfect manner to the spectators on the eve of new year’s day. Seema with her team presented the above said stage play accordingly, Which was educative, full of humor and an entertaining programme. People enjoyed the play nicely, it being a unique and also the enjoyable one. That was the best programme of the evening. The Divisional Commander conveyed his appreciation to Seema and her team.

Sample TAT Story for SSB Interview:

Puran was the principal of post graduate Degree college in Uttaranchal. Football was the favourite game of the people in that region. It was decided that inter colleges football annual championship were to be organised and held in his college. The team of his own college was one of the participants. Puran intended to manage all the activities of that championship well. He held the conference in which all the concerned teachers, student representatives, captain of his college football team attended the conference.

Puran wanted that all the works and arrangements of the championship must be done needfully mainly football playground, general maintenance of college area, connecting roads, sitting arrangement for spectators and the invitees, boarding for incoming players and the guests, programme of the matches including final, prizes and trophies, invitation cards, reception of chief guest and other local guests, security arrangements and also refreshment to the players and the guests on the day of the final match. He allocated the responsibilities by name for action. 

Puran also  carried out an inspection of all the arrangements a week before the date of commencement of the matches. He motivated his college football team also to start practice daily and vigorously to score better position. All the matches were played as per schedule. And at the same time all the spectators enjoyed the final match which was nostalgic as well as romantic. The chief guest expressed his pleasure over the arrangements and also for putting sincere efforts in making this event spectacular and memorable. Puran conveyed his appreciation to all the staff concerned and the team for making the event successful. Above was the memorable show of the year.

Sample TAT Story for SSB Interview

Sibal was residing in Khazana complex of the city. He heard a noise outside, which he attended immediately. He found that there was an outbreak of fire on the 11th storey of the building . The entrance of the staircase was closed and locked. The lift was not working due to electric failure because of fire accident incidentally. Sibal formed a team out of the spectators, Who were ready to volunteer to participate in rescue operation . He planned for the operation quickly and briefed to the team members. He arranged ropes and the fire extinguishers promptly. Sibal  climbed up with the help of rope along with two extinguishers initially to put out the fire .The fire extinguishers were operated dynamically and the process was repeated till the tire was put out completely .Two more persons of the team joined Sibal to glide down the essential things from the eleventh storey and handover to the owners, where required to do so. Sibal with his team completed the job timely and could prevent fire from further spreading. The entire scene was given under head lines by print as well as electronic media next day. Besides above,the conspicuous act of Sibal and the team , as demonstrated with proper planning , management, courage and timely action, was an example to others and an inspiration to the youth of the country.

            The border is tensed and an operation is to be launched. Vikram is given the daunting task by the Commanding Officer, to take a detachment of troops and capture a light machine gun post at peak 2025.he starts climbing alone with the troops with arms and ammunition, maps, binoculars, etc. the going is very tough due to steep climb, mountain gradients, slippery way, extreme weather conditions, low visibility and high wind velocity. There is lot of causality and firing to taking palace on both side and enemy position. Captain Vikram did not deter and keep on motivating his troops and reached the peak. The captured the point 2050 after having a head to head battle with the enemy over powered and gain victory over the enemy.  He send the victory signals to Commanding Officer and he alone with his detachment is applauded for their good job. Capt. Vikram is always volunteered to take part in such operations and achieved success in various mission. He is a proud officer of the Regiment and liked by the colleagues and superiors.

        As Ravi is coming back to home from his college in the evening, suddenly he sees a speeding car collided with a Tonga, while the Tonga driver is trying to cross the road. Lot of people gathered at spot immediately. The Tonga driver and Passengers were seriously injured and car driver also sustained minor injuries. The Tonga driver and the occupants of carriage were crying in pain and lot of blood is flowing profusely, everybody wanted to help them, Ravi used his presence of mind and without any delay arranged for first aid and medication and evacuation of the injured person’s along with the help of the people around. He also informed the relatives of the injured and insured medication and regular visits to the Hospital. After few days he introspect the course of accident and revealed to himself that it is due to lack of speed breakers and poor lighting signals. He put up the plea to the regional transport Authority and his request is accepted and within a period of 5-6 months he is happy that suitable speed breakers and lighting signals have been erected and it is no more and accident prone area. He is happy and satisfied with his action.

Vikram is the student of NCC and he is performing the duties of the under Officer. He is given the responsibility to visit Uttar Kashi where a NCC camp is proceeding next week. He along with three NCC students went to Uttar Kashi, which is totally forested area. Abundance flora and fauna all around, and early morning weather is pleasant. He is leading the boys and checks the complete area suitable for camp and finds a river close to the camping ground which has been ear marked river close to the camping ground which has been ear marked as a suitable area. He collected all the information and data about the place, went back and informed his senior officer and gave all the vital information about the site. His officer is happy with his work. Thereafter, the NCC students went to the camp site and enjoyed their extensive tenure in the camping area. Terrorism is a global evil and J&K sector is also terror affected. Capt. Aditya is posted in the J&K sector. He came to know through intelligence sources about the enemy position of the terrorist camps on top of mountainous range planning for bomb explosion during Independence Day celebration. He immediately along with some sub-ordinates as directed by commanding officer, gained relative information about the possible terrorist camps take maps, satellite photographs, binoculars, etc. started the mission to eliminate the possible areas to terrorist incursions. The going is very tough due to extreme weather condition, low visibility and high wind velocity, they reach at the preplanned peak, and the terrorist were hiding at the lower sites. Captain Aditya along with a small detachment of troops and motivation attacked the enemy hide out and were able to nullify the terrorist camp effectively. Captain Aditya along with his detachment of troops always volunteered to take action in such operations.

        Arjun is keen to become a good swimmer and he is going to take part in the aquatic championship at the district level and wanted to take guidance and work under the expert swimming coach Vikram. One day when he is in the process of swimming and wanted to extra length but, but due to the heavy flow and fast current he lost his balance. He tried to regain his balance but of no avail. He developed some cramps and running short of breath, he raised his hand and started yelling for help. Vikram immediately drive into the river and tried to catch Arjun. But due to fast current of water, and with great difficulty he is able to do so, pulled Arjun to outside the river and took him to the bank of river. he arranged his first aid evacuation and medication and ensure his fitness Vikram is very happy and satisfied that he is not only able to save the swimmer but also advised and guided Arjun to built up his physical stamina to meet such eventualities. Arjun after recovering took extensive practice come out with flying colors in swimming championship, by putting extra effort and improving his swimming skills.

But Madhu is never coward and wanted to earn a living to herself. She took a firm decision and decided to take up a job as soon as she became mother. So she started planning for it, she read many books became generally more aware by reading news papers and magazines and tried to grab opportunities coming her way. She left no stone unturned and finally her dream is fulfilled. She joined a non-government organization with consent of her family members. Not only she brought prosperity to her family, but made the people aware in the village to help the girl students to take up studies and find jobs which will result in prosperity and development of the nation.

Guys i am putting this TAT story to provide you better understanding of how to write a TAT story on A lady in Open Village Area.

Leena is studying in B.A. III. During her vacation she visited her village. The outskirts of the village were lying barren with no cultivation. Deforestation is removing the tree line. She found women folk pulling log of wood to bring it to their home. On enquiring she realized that felling of trees is being used in kitchen for cooking purposes. She asked them not to use it, since it not only create breathing problems, but also resulted as deforestation. Leena thought over the problem, and wanted to find solution by introducing the essentials of solar cookers in the region. Firstly, it will result in healthy cooking and living, and there by stop deforestation in region. Leena, visited the village area, educated the masses and captured the essentials of the sun rays for cooking which is cost effective. The point is well taken by the villagers. Leena brought awareness and prosperity by introducing good and healthy living.

Comments

The stimulus depicts a village girl seeking ways and means to improve the general living conditions in the surrounding areas. The female is well read and achieves her mission in education the villagers about modern techniques and use of solar emission to bring changes in the existing circumstances leading to deforestation and smoky outfit. The pint is well taken and the mission is productive.
